PROVINCIAL CAPITOL, Antipolo, Rizal – In line with the celebration of the 110th Araw ng Lalawigan, the 113th Independence Day and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the provincial government of Rizal, in collaboration with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Rizal and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Rizal, is set to gather businessmen and stakeholders into a business conference to address issues and concerns to further promote and enhance the business climate in Rizal Province.
Rizal Gov. Jun Ynares said that the conference aims to validate issues on market access, enabling business environment, access to financing, productivity and efficiency. The gathering expects to develop relevant economic programs that will assist the government in its development efforts.
Several Kart Pangkabuhayan (KP) will be distributed to project beneficiaries in the business conference on June 15. These livelihood carts are under the PROPEL project of senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan who has provided funds for Rizal through the PCCI-Rizal, in collaboration with the provincial government.
Meanwhile, the first Rizal Gawad Tanglaw for Business will be launched on June 19, the birth anniversary of the national hero and the culminating activity of the Alay sa Lalawigan Trade Fair which runs from June 9 to 19. SMEs will also be recognized and the awardees will be nominated to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Award of the DTI.
