Boto na! Atin 'to! PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER (New 7 Wonders of Nature)

The Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) now ranks number 11 of the top 28 official finalist candidates in the search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature (N7WN), a global polling campaign started by a Swiss-based government-controlled foundation in 2007 "highlights and celebrates the beauty of the planet."

As the competition is getting stronger and the voting is expected to close on November 10 this year, there is a need to intensify the national advocacy campaign to ensure that the Puerto Princesa Underground River is proclaimed as one of the N7WN.

Furthermore, all presiding officers of the Sanggunians are also urged to enact a local ordinace declaring their all-out support to the "Vote for PPUR" campaign and mobilizing the support and paricipation from all sectors of the society.
